About me

Hey there! I’m Emmaline, your friendly neighbourhood (even if it’s a virtual OOP neighbourhood in the city of computer science) developer and the creative force behind the blog SwiftIsBetterThanJava.

As a full-stack software developer with a love for Java and Angular, I’ve been on a quest to gather the most helpful learning materials I could find. Now, I’m on a mission to share my treasure trove of resources with fellow developers who are preparing for technical interviews, or simply wanting to delve into the captivating nooks and crannies of Java and its compatible frameworks.

At SwiftIsBetterThanJava, we don’t just focus on the technical stuff – we also encourage women to start a career in tech (because who doesn’t love an underdog, am I right?!), and offer insightful reviews on online courses, books, and websites to keep you in the loop and ahead of the game (or just so that I remember not to buy the same stuff twice!).

In the near future, I plan on levelling up my own skills (especially in the front-end departament…), you can expect some cool resources on Angular and JavaScript coming as I continue my front-end development journey.

But wait, there’s more! I’m also concocting a plan to gamify the learning process, transforming it into a fun and engaging experience for all of us. So, grab your metaphorical controllers and prepare for some delightful learning adventures.
